Tried out meg's 2.0

I gave a quick look for the product discussion section, but I couldn't find it, so move this if need-be.

Anyhow, I picked up the 7 piece meg's kit from my local wally world today. Gave the 2.0 a try on my mom's Silver 07 Ford Fusion. Just a basic wash and wax. It could have used a good claying, but I just did it like two months ago and I wasn't getting paid - lol.

The stuff worked really well. I was amazed at how easy it came off. It came off even easier than my sovi! It went on really well, too and left the paint feeling really slick. Water beads off it pretty good, too. Now that I've given it a try I'm trading it off for some PWS (I need a good AIO).

Anyhow, I just thought I'd share my experience with you guys just as a little reference for those of you who haven't tried it yet! I didn't get any pictures because it wasn't really that exciting of a detail, but I'll take some if you guys want some. The stuff really gave some reflection, but not so much on the depth, who can get depth on silver anyhow?

My only complaint is that it's white and the car I was working with was silver which made it hard to find what was left and what I had taken off.:heelclick

Summary: easy on/off - good reflection - bad for lighter cars - good wetness

overall I give it about a 7.5 out of 10.

I wonder how long it will last. :idea

If this has durability, it will be great for me because I love the original NXT but hate its terrible durability.

M20 is one of my favorite sealant waxes. Its a great product. It always has a place in my detailing cabinet. :) Nice to hear tht u like it too. Durability is ok. Better than Nxt.

"The stuff really gave some reflection, but not so much on the depth, who can get depth on silver anyhow?" Try 3 coats of Ultima PGP 12 hours apart and you will be saying "I can get some serious depth on silver."
