tried EF-HI on my subaru wheels this weekend....

I mixed it down 50-50 using filtered water. the subaru doesn't make neer the brake dust that the bimmer does but it seemed to work very well. the wheels on this car are easy to clean with a brush so I agitate the wheel cleaner anyway.

I'm not going to try it on the bimmer for a while because I want to see how long the zaino method lasts (so far so good after one week).

anyway, the EF-HI works well for my need so far. it's a bargain at $20/gallon, especially if you dilute it with 50% water. I had been using Meguiar's Hot Rims because it was safe and cheep and available at local the local target and kragen stores.

so far, the EF-HI is on par with Hot Rims but we'll see later how these products tackle the BMW's front wheels. I'll do one side with EF-HI and the other with Hot Rims then just hose them off without agitating.

BTW... here is what the wheels look like. they appear to be painted in the openings and lathe cut then clear coated.

Glad to hear you liked EFHI. I use it as well and I like it very much, no frills, does the job and won't break the bank. :up

I have several bottles mixed with different concentrations, I go buy how bad the wheel is to decide which mix to use. I keep a 50/50, 70/30 and full strength EFHI on hand. :up

the 50-50 mixter is plenty for the subaru. it doesn't create anywwhere neer as much brake dust as the bimmer.

we'll see if I can get away with 50-50 on the bimmer. I'm prety sure I can because I never let them get that dirty anyway.
