Trees have no mercy!

Auto Detail & Restoration
I received a call to take a look at a sap problem. The vehicle sat under some trees and the sun did it's job of baking the sap.
With this unusually warm winter the sap has been horrible.
The problem is this vehicle is fairly flat as far as peel.
These are the after mild APC wash down and clay.:(

This 275 GTS was shown last year:(
Back to the drawing board. Brought it home to take to shop tomorrow where I can better address the issues. Better pics to come.

Looks like a job for Valu-Gard ABC to me.... I'm assuming that's a BC/CC refinish?

BTW, John, did you get my email the other day?

Even after letting 3M adhesive remover dwell there is etching

Will post during and finals with a real camera. This was a squeak in job vs. Letting it sit any longer.......back to work.

Without a doubt.

My recent story. The house was being painted so I parked on the of the driveway to be out of the way of the painter's truck. I was outside talking to the project lead and hear a clunk and see a pine cone rolling on the ground. It fell from the tree and hit/dented the hood of my truck.

Email checked....no. PM sent.

Never tried the Valu-Gard?

Gotcha.

The ABC is a decontamination system similar in application to the Finish-Kare system or IronX/TarX/TriX, but it's supposed to be a lot safer to use even on fragile finishes and is approved by several OEMs. I've been playing with it a bit lately and I have to say, it's pretty good to work with. :bigups

Have you used the ABC system compared to the other systems yourself? What were your thoughts?

I have not used the FK system but have used IronX/TarX pretty extensively and have compared it with ABC; the reason I said "supposed to be safer even on fragile finishes.." is because I have not had the opportunity to use it personally on a finish I'd consider "fragile."

In terms of comparing ABC to IX/TX, I would say that the ABC process is not as fast, but it is more thorough without needing a second application like IX sometimes needs.
