Trashed exhaust tips = no problem for OPC and daytona speed brush!

Here's how I do my exhaust tips when they are trashed.



OPC is safe on all surfaces (including bare metals and plastics) according to Optimum. I use OPC on really dirty exhaust tips and soap and water on less dirty exhaust tips.

Yup, I agree I had originally made that dilution only for interiors but found it works well at cleaning wheels and exhaust tips as well

Good video guy. May I suggest not directing high pressure water directly into the exhaust in the future though.

Hey sure, all suggestions are welcome. I'm still always learning. Why would you suggest that? It's just garden hose, not a pressure washer or anything like that.

Water forced into an exhaust system can create alot of "problems", including making an engine hard to start (Kind of like the old "potatoe in the exhaust tip" trick). I suggest just using a spray bottle of water to better "control" the amount of water used for rinsing.
