WEll i have been looking at trailers 4x8 and I see a huge price rangs. All i want it is for my water tank, pressure washer, generator and a box up front, the rest in the bed of my pickup. I see some of these trailers from harbor freight for like 250 bucks with a wood bottom are they any good? I know your not going to get the best stuff for that money, but i dont see why i would want to spend all that money on something im really not going to use. All that will be on there is about 900 lbs or so, and some of these trailers are rated for 12-2000 and they only cost 250-350.

I mean i have the 6 foot bed on my truck with a lid so i can only keep them also safe from the rain so non of the chemicals will get wet, think this trailer would hold up for those couple big items, the tank im getting is 90 gallonns.

I looked around at many trailer manufactures, and found that paying $600-$700 for a well built trailer with a large enough axle, good tires, and good welds, is about average. Even though you say that you wont carry that much weight on it, you never know what youll need it for in the future. I would not buy a trailer for $250, I believe in you get what you pay for. I have a 100 gallon tank, 35k generator, power washer, and tool box (it holds all my goodies) with a 3500lbs axle, and it has no problems at all. I weighed all my componets, and placed them so I had a 60/40 split in th weight. Oh yea!! I have a 5x10

Detailedcars is right on with what he is saying.

My last trailer I had was a 5x8 with every thing you you want to put on yours. It cost me around $600.00

I have seen guys try to use the cheep trailers and they end up junking them with bent axles and frames.

Save your self the hassle and spend the extra money now and not down the road.

Awhile back I picked up one of those $150 folding 4x8 from Harbor Frieght. You can throw in another $100-150 by the time you put wood on it. It began rusting out in 1-2 years. I was lucky and found someone who took it for $200 and thought he was getting a deal.

Since then I am using one from Home Depot. Its a Snow Bear: http://www.snowbear.com/html/8000.html. It works the balls and has held up now for 3 years with no problems. If I had to do it over again....I would pick up the landscape model. It is the one with the flip up mesh ramp. This would make life easier loading the quad, motorcycle, lawnmower or snowblower.
