Trade Secret vs. Pinnacle Souveran

I know Anthony has compared the two before, but I was wondering if anyone else has used the two and what your opinions are on it.

Thanks in advance.

I used them both, but haven't used Trade Secret in AGES, so maybe it's changed since then. *I* liked Souveran a lot better. Looks, ease-of-use, I just didn't think TS was all that special. Sorta like Pinnacle Paste Glaze, if you want a "just like" comparison. But again, this was a LONG time ago.

To date, I have not found a single carnuba thats better than Pinnacle's Soveran. I go against the grain also with P21S/S100 being close. While Pinnacle does not bead as well as some competitors, it has a wet-look and depth that makes you wanna dive in. Just my .02 .....

My main curiousity is between the depth and darkness on black/red/navy blue. I could buy 2 TS for the price of 1 PS. It would be pretty hard to justify PS.

Thanks for the input guys.

Not when you see the results, are anamored by the ease of use, and how little product is needed. A Jar will last you a year or more with monthly coverings.

Yeah, I was always put off by the price of PS, but if I used it just on my vehicle monthly it will probably last closer to 2 years.

$60 is too much to have the best for 2 years;)

Scott-Killrwheels got me to try the souveran out on another forum we belong to, and I have never regretted it. I'm not sure if it's going to be the night and day difference that your looking for, as P21S is a good wax. However with that being said, one of the things I notice most when I stare at my car now besides the extremely wet look, is the 3d effect. That does it for me everytime... If you know what other forum I'm talking about then you know what product I used before the souveran. A very good product in it's own right. That being said, I didn't have people pointing at my car all the time until after I switched to souveran... My car is yellow by the way, and souveran works best on red and blk. So the choice is yours. If you have P21S and decide not to go with the souveran, just order the CM and use it with the P21S. CM is a fabulous product in it's own right. "disclaimer" Please disregard my post if you live in WA state, because I don't want your car to look as good as mines  ...

Who's Scott? :)

When you say CM are you talking about Carnauba Moose?

It's been a long day, I may not be reading your post correctly.

Check out his post about 6 up from mines, I was concurring with what he said about souveran, and just wanted to let you know that he got me to try it. CM is the Crystal Mist spraywax for souveran, but would work well with your S100 if you don't want to spring for the souveran...:xyxthumbs

Many thanks for the kudo's. :bounce :bounce

Even though Pinnacle Soveran is my favorite, I still try most other products. I consistently use Klasse (Aio and Sealant) on wifes car because of durability and lack of time. I clearly love my Vette, and would never skimp on time, price, or maintenance. I should be on MYTH BUSTERS, as you cannot seem to wax the paint off your car !!
