Trade Secret on Black...

What combo to use next?
Hey all,

I'm posting pics of my friends most recent work on his 1994 Mustang GT Convertible. Him and I did the 12 coat extravaganza on both of our cars before, and this summer might be a repeat!

Here's the combo so far:

Detergent Wash
Megs Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner x1
Megs #7 Glaze x1
Megs Polymer Sealant x1
Trade Secret x2

Let him know what you think of the pics!

Very impressive. What's more impressive is that the headlight lense is not oxidated as most older Fords.

I'm loving TS!!! The stuff goes on and off so easily, and has beat P21S/S100 and a few others I've tried in the category of depth and wetness!

those aren't stock headlights for that car, that type of headlight is from the cobra model, so its probably a new replica or oem

Hey Jeff that came out lookin great . I was wonderin did you apply everything right after the other ? or did you wait a day between each coat ? TIA

Jerry

That Stang looks great! :bigups

Trade Secret is an excellent product............... especially on dark colors!

Whoa...thought this thread was dead...guess not!

and Dean, you HAVEN'T USED TS yet? :wait My god.

To all else, I didn't do the detail on this car, my friend did. We discovered TS at about the same time last year and are both Trade Secret Diehards now. BTW, he didn't even need to clay his car...just used the paint pre-cleaner by megs, and the protection of his 10 older coats let the contaminants just slide off! I'm pretty sure that about a year of washing and getting dirty in the Arizona sun took all but a couple coats off, but according to him, it was still beading up after every wash! A tribute to its durability!

Well, gotta go wash my RSX-S now w/Megs Soft Wash Gel(the old standby)....C-ya guys!

1 more pic...

For those of you who demand proof of the "layering" of TS, here it is. It is a pic in his garage of the trunk lid. His rear quarterpanel and wing are 2coats strong, the trunk itself is but 1. Notice the darkness difference and reflection quality.

LATER!

Jeff.
