Hey ya'll, I'm back......I've been so distracted this summer making wedding plans I haven't been to the forum much. I figured today is a good day to chime in and show you my latest project, 2006 Tacoma with some oxidation on the roof.
I started with my PC using a white pad and HD Uno. No success. I moved to my Makita with the same pad and polish. Better, but the pad was generating more heat than I wanted (AZ in Aug). So I moved to a Meg yellow wool with HD uno again. I must mention this is the first time I have used wool. I picked up a few wool pads a few years ago but just held them, never really had the need. I primed the pad, laid down a small line of polish, kept the speed at 1500 and just went to it. I followed up with the PC again, white pad and HD Uno. Well the results were awesome. Here is the finished pic.
The pic is after Meg #7 and #26.
