Towel storage

So how does everybody store their towels that store them in the garage? We used to have a one car garage with no room so I kept them in totes stacked in my closet. Now we have a big two car and I will be getting a cabinet to put towels and other stuff in. Should I still have them in something inside the cabinet? I see lots of pictures or videos of people just stacking the towels on the shelves of the cabinet, but wouldn`t they still get dusty to some degree or would it even matter?

I`m not interested in the plastic drawer storage things as I`ve done that and don`t like them for towel storage.

Mine are either stacked on a shelf in a cabinet or in bins on shelves out side of the cabinet. I am probably no help lol

I like these the door folds down, you see in the bin and are stackable. You can order from Home Depot or direct from Rubbermaid

I keep mine in plastic storage bins made by Sterilite.

The blue container to the right of the shelving is actually a dog food container. I put my used towels in it until I get a chance to wash them.

Each bin is marked as to what type of towels are in them.

I actually now need one more bin for rinseless wash towels. Just bought about a dozen Eagle Edgeless from the rag co for that.

I keep mine in a metal cabinet. I had them in plastic drawers (not sealing types as some use) and they do pick up debris...like when blowing out the garage.

Count me as a +1 for sterilite totes. For towels, I like the ones that are about 6" deep and perfectly rectangular with a lid that snaps on. I`ll put a piece of painter`s tape on the front and label what`s in there. I`ve got all my stuff stacked on wire restaurant style shelves. I`ll try and shoot a picture tonight.

Even in a cabinet I wouldn`t feel comfortable they`d stay debris free.

I started off with plastic bins. Eventually transferred many to the two types of Flex detailing bags, and a kitchen trash bag. The less-used towels are still in plastic bins

Wow. I will have to share this with my wife. She think I have way to many towels. Thank you. ^_^

Ha Ha, and I`ve recently added a case of Kerpluffles to the collection about a month ago. I`m actually in the process of building a foundation for a 7x7 Storage shed just to house my towels, pads and mitts.

Now this I want to see!! In the shed will you also have a dedicated washer/dryer for washing mfs??

Wow. I`m just wondering why anyone would need that many towels. Do you re-sell them???

Why do any one of us have multiple products to clean our cars or why do we have multiple buffers? Because we want them. Personally I look at MF`s as tools and I`m of the mindset that you can never have too many tools. And yes I do sell some to customers that ask for a maintenance package or what they should be using. So buying in bulk helps keep cost down as well.
