toughseal step 1 demo

SVR

Dream Machines
Just had someone I've known for ages come around at my request and do a demo of the 500ml toughseal paint protection step 1 pre treatment on a badly swirled and lightly faded MG Rover RV8 green paintwork by hand. we have four of them sitting here at the dream factory.

It had not been clayed either.

He used cheesecloth, not foam or microfibre and the shine and swirl removal was superb

I have never used or seen any paint sealant prep product (AIO, Prime Acrylic, Glare pro polish, Fireglaze Pro Polish etc) give a sharp wet look diamond shine.

Most didn't do anything more than just set the paint up for sealing.

he also had some bodyshop pro 3000 polish that toughseal has come up with

I was contacted by the importer in melbourne and gave me all the info about it.

Despite giving a nice shine by hand, it's nothing compared to our beloved menzerna and other boutique products and contains brazillian waxes so it's most likely going to give an artificial and short lived shine (fillers(plus be a ***** to buff in with a machine (holograms)

The UK manufacturers seem to have this idea that a wax polish is the way it's done and better than just a pure polish.

Now I am not going to get on the toughseal bandwagon and say it's the greatest paint protection or polish in the world and last five years but after machine polishing and finishing with 106FF, I will use step 1 pre treatment on most of my cars and apply whichever sealant I wish.
