Touchless Automatics

I know some of you guys are hardcore and will wash your car in a blizzard with temps of -10*F, but that's only some. With our recent storm I still haven't seen the hose spigot yet with the snow pack. I have become fond of the touchless automatic carwash in town. I mainly use it for the undercarriage wash to get all the salt off the bottom. Anybody else here use them in the Winter when you can't access your own water? They aren't perfect, but it's better than a salty car!

Nizmo- My wife runs her A8 through one down in TN when she's travelling. Sometimes it's a bit hard on the LSP (maybe the guy mixes the solutions inconsistently) but when the weather's bad taking it through that carwash is generally better than just letting the car get/stay nasty for weeks on end.

People warn about how the chemicals can degrade trim/seals/etc. but that's never been a problem for us. Guess it depends on the carwash though, and how they mixed their chemicals. Another one of those "you pay your money and you take your chances" things IMO.
