Hello guys!
I have some very minor rust spots and have decided to touch them up. This is my method so far: (Please tell me if I forgot or am doing anything wrong)
1) Sand the spot down
2) Put primer - let dry
3) Wet sand
4) Put touch up paint - let dry
5) Put touch up paint clear coat - let dry
For the wet sanding step. When I sand the primer down, is it okay to wet sand the paint next to the spot as well? (The good paint) Or do I have to tape off the area and be very careful. What does wet sanding do?
Thank you!
