Total Noob question

Hi everyone,

I just had a couple quick questions about polishing with my PC. From what I've learned on this site the paint on my black g35 is considered "soft" and some swirls need to be polished out.

1)After I compound or clean a section of the car must i seal it right away? Or can do the entire car then seal with glaze or a wax?

2)Any Poorboy's users how does that work on soft paint?

Thanks everyone for the info

You can do the whole car before you finish with the wax or sealant. This is assuming you are doing it on one session.

Poorboys polishes are good products. If your paint is soft, I would think that SSR 2.5 on a white LC pad would be as agressive would want to go. The Poorboys polishes tend to dust a bit, but that generally is not a real problem.

Thanks guys for your reply! Glad to hear you don't have to do things right away! I was planning on doing an all day session.

Bjackson8 - Sweet good to hear! My polisher will be coming with a white LC CCS pad...next next order is some poorboys. Thanks again!
