This is a little write-up following our third meet. We had 15 people attend including one female this time around, hey I am an equal opportunity guy, and it was nice to see a female that looked a little interested in detailing. I chose my black avalanche for show and tell as my paint guy didn’t show up. I thought the paint would be ok but when we looked at the doors, yikes, what a disaster.
I had a door scratch/scuff from some idiot in a parking lot somewhere. We wet sanded with 2000 grit and worked it with the rest of the door. The door saw 3 passes of pg, then 2 passes of pf and then 2 passes of 85rd to make it look almost acceptable. My doors were resprayed and are a nightmare to work on.
