Topping SG reduce durability?

I spent last week putting on 3 layers of SG after some SSR and AIO, waiting 24 hours between each layer. I then topped it all with S100, with the hood receiving some Imperial Hand Glaze too. My question is, will the S100 and Glaze reduce the durability of the SG? The main reason I put the SG on in the first place was that I wouldn't be around to wax the car religiously.

The IHG will reduce the durabilty of the SG. It contains solvents that will eat away at the SG over time. Next time skip the glaze and just use S100.

Going even further, I would be willing to bet that your Klasse SG might be gone or nearly gone in the glazed area already....

A "related" question - if I top KSG with a carnuba, do I need to strip everything off to start again, or can I assume the carnuba is gone in a month or so and do KSG after a wash?

You need to start over.

And yeah, if you look at the stuff in IHG you'll see why it will mess with KSG. Next time, just top the SG with wax and redo the wax from time to time. Or leave it untopped and redo the SG from time to time.

Yup, I restarted with AIO and SG this morning. I hope to get 3 layers in before I have to part with my car for a semester.

thats good that s100 doesnt mess with the durability of klasse sg, cause im about to apply my 5th coat of it to my car, and then topping with 2-5 layers of s100(depending on when i think it stops looking better)
