Topper for SG on Met. Blue??

Next week I plan to give my car a full detail. I'm probably gonna go with AIO/SG but I'm looking for a topper. I'll probably apply SG x2 (maybe more) and want something that will not dull the effects of the SG. I thought about topping it with Wolgang, but not sure how it will bond with SG. Any suggestions? The paint is Mazda's Lapis Blue Metallic. The flake is very subtle and doesn't really sparkle like a lot of other metallics. Any advice is appreciated.

I have a Miata with sapphire blue metallic. I use AIOx2/SGx5 as a base. Everything I've tried will dull the SG. Souveran will give an improvement that is indisputable because it is deeper, richer, wetter, more liquid, but less reflective in bright light. NXT paste will change the look but people will argue whether it was an improvement or not. It's not as shiny, not as wet, and overall not as good but only by a small amount. Like I said, some will argue against my feelings about it. If you use NXT paste, layer it about 3x to get close to all Klasse. S100 is not a good match on metallic blue. Definite downgrade in overall looks if you had Klasse twins.

My thoughts, just keep using SG.

If I were you I would leave the SG alone and not top it. But since you asked you might try some Meg's #16. And if you are really not set on the SG maybe try topping your AIO with some UPPx2.

I've had some excellent results with UPP on top of AIO on my wife's metallic blue Alero. Good luck and post some pics if you can

Just keep layering the SG. If you really get the urge to top it, just top the hood, that way you will have the SG topped and untopped and will easily be able to tell which look you prefer.
