Too funny to NOT share...

Bwahahahhahaha!!! OMG! That is the funniest thing I've read since the post about using bleach to make the car whiter! LMFAO!!!

I tryed my best to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and not judge but by the time I got to the end of the thread I was cracking up.

The diagram that he posted was classic, and the suggestion to use the adult version was even better:rofl:rofl:rofl

The best part was when the OP was like "C'mon guys, stop trying to pretend like you don't use these and just answer the question!" He didn't say that exactly, but that was what I was getting from it! He honestly thought it was standard practice to use disposable diapers in detailing!!! LOL I can't say that I've ever even considered using those for ANYTHING other than putting on my kids.

And he was worried that people would think he was an idiot.....there was no question in my mind whatsoever :rofl

Uh..... what?! :lmfao

Back some time ago in the early ages of DC, a member posted he used bleach to wash his white car. I think it was Blinded (the user name). It's been a while - I think back when I was just a young lurker. I remember the story - however, I don't know if it was from firsthand experience or just thru retelling.

If I remember correctly it was firsthand. Gotta love those days.:lmfao.:passout:

Ha! Guess I missed that one.

Kinda reminds me of my uncle, who once told me he used windex to wash his Corvette because the car is made of fiberglass. :yikes:

I dunno what it is about the Corvettes, but some of the funniest detailing posts are made by people who think they have to go about detailing/waxing/washing them in some mysterious and magical manner. :D

I used to work for an old man who was a firm believer in putting about half a can of comet in his wash bucket along with dawn to wash his pearl white Escalade. He also used laquer thinner as an apc. He used to carry around a soda bottle full of thinner all day with him. He used it on his leather seats, gauge pod, tires and trim, and anything else he saw that needed to be ruined. Needless to say he had a 07 Caddy that was worth about $2500.
