TOL Light cut and MC

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
Can someone please tell me how these two products compare in terms of abrasiveness with a product in the Meguiars body shop line. I did a search, but did not find a definitive answer.

My initial thoughts after reading about them were that the The LC would be a 4 like speed glaze and the MC would rank around 6 like DACP??????

TIA

MC = DACP = 2.5 Actually. Talked to Nickc and he gave me that info. So I skipped on 2.5 (to bad would of had almost the entire ssr line) and got MC. Light Cut I think is between ssr2/1

Brandon covered that for me. DACP doesn't have as large of abrasives in it, but in effect, is along the same lines of SSR2.5, and light cut just breaks down really easily.

Thanks Nick, so far in my limited testing it seems that I am thinking along these lines

LC=SSR2 or speed glaze
MC=DACP
SSR2.5 is a tiny notch below DACP
the list goes on

Thoughts?

SSR2.5 feels a lot grittier than DACP and it seems to me like it's a bit more abrasive.

While I agree that it has more mechanical abrasives in it, I find DACP to be better at removing swirls and also a touch more aggressive.

SSR2.5 definitely leaves a better finish.
