Today's Detail - BMW 540i

This is a really well made car, even though I think it's a 97 or so, it's still light years ahead of most cars on the road now, and as you can see from the initial photo it isn't in bad shape. Worst areas were the interior carpet, mats, and engine bay.

Wash with GC wash, claybar with blue claymagic bar

Sonus SFX-1 via PC

Turtle Wax Chrome Polish on wheels and trim pieces

Michelin Tire Shine on plastic and tires



Interior



Woolite 3:1 on carpets, leather, doors

Stoner's IG on glass

Meguiar's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on seats



Engine

Soak down

Simple Green on everything, agitate with old mitt and toothbrush

Rinse

Dress with Michelin Tire Shine

I actually washed and waxed a black 2001 540 today. Its a v8 monster. Except it gets 15.5 miles per gallon
