Not happy with the swirl/spider webs that still visable on the car, should I assume that I need something more powerful than VM, or is it a case of re applying till happy?

UKDM ITR...Very Very nice.

Results look great. How long did the whole process take ya?

Try to snap us some more pics when the sun pokes out...I would love to see em :D

Car looks really good! You will need to use something stronger than VM on the swirls and spider swirls since VM has very light abrasives.

BTW, you did cut the clay bar in half right? 200mg bar is pretty big.

Only used about 1/4 of the clay bar.

What product would you recommend for a black paint for the swirls?

I like Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner Polish #83 and Swirl Free Polish #82.

Without seeing them though, I don't know if you'd need something stronger than DACP.

Scott, what would you consider to be the next step if DACP wasn't strong enough? A fine cut cleaner?

#2 is somewhat more aggressive than DACP. Medium Cut #1 or Compound Power Cleaner #84 are the next steps up if you wish to stay with Meguiars products.

beautiful R. The DACP should work on your teg, i have worked on (and owned two) quite a few tegs and know how they swirl and I highly highly doubt you will need fine cut.

Well what can I say, I am really truly very amazed indeed. I never thought this type of finish was possible!

Clearkote Vrs Poorboys:

Firstly I used a sample bit of claybar on both front wings and I did a fair comparison using both the poorboys and the clearkote (both stages) - I used the girlfriend for this test, which she thought looks best and was the smoothet by touch. She instantly chose Clearkote and I had to agree with her, the finish was truly spectacular, all the spider web marks gone and leaving a lush deep shine that looks wet. FANTASTIC!

All these samples were supplied by seriousperformance and I really am dead chuffed with the service and the products, I will be ordering tomorrow - best service I have ever been given by a business so far.

Sorry about the blurred picture, I took over 20 shots and this is the only one that was not blurred! - looks twice as good in the flesh.

- I really can't emphasize how good this product is....

Day 2 - Snowed and rained last night, apart from a few water marks the paint still looks fab. Really great wax, recommended to anyone.

Sorry about the poorly re-sized pic! :P

FANTASTIC PRODUCT! I have now ordered both the Moose Wax and the Cab Wax from www.seriousperformance.co.uk Well worth the dough.

Great results!

I used the Vannilla Moose Wax (anti spider web) - IE POLISH. Then I did use the Cab Wax :)

They were only samples so I did not get to use as much as I liked, however I was chffed with the results.

Plus I should have really done a panel at a time, however, I was pushed for time :( - plus I was freezing my butt off! :)
