To hot to detail

It's going to be around d 90* here in So. Cal. tomorrow. I was hoping to detail my truck but it looks like it's going to have to wait a few more weeks until it cools down.

I hate when it's this hot. Anything under 65* is too cold and over 80* is too hot. :chuckle:

yeah, i'm gonna wake around 7am tomorrow and give my baby a bath, it's suppose to be in the 90's tomorrow in the inland empire (riverside, california)...

If it's too hot already in March, how warm is it in June, July or August?

That's really hard to say because it's relative to where you live in SoCal. You can be near the beach, in the valley, in the desert, in the mountains, etc. If you're near the beach, temps are moderate basically all year long but the further inland you go, the warmer it gets during the summer months. Beach weather is perfect, but I've lived here all my life and sometimes I wish I could experience the different seasons.

What I love is that I could get up in the morning and go skiing in the morning and to the beach in the afternoon yet still be home in time for dinner. Not many places in the world where that happens.

very true spoiled man.

I was in Hawaii (Oahu) last month around Pro Bowl, and the rest of the tourists always commented on how nice the weather was, and I kept thinking and laughing to myself how much better the weather in SoCal was.

I'm not gonna lie, Hawaii's weather was nice a majority of the time, but it's more of a tropical weather so it's sunny one moment and sprinkling or raining the next. We rented a Mustang convertible thinking we'd get to drive with the top down and enjoy the scenery even better, but we barely got any use from it due to the unpredictable weather.

Unfortunately none of our beaches compares to theirs. It's definitely a much prettier place to live than here in SoCal. I could put up with their weather, but I don't know if I can drive there. They drive SLOOOW as hell (highest MAX speed I saw was 55) and even though we have the worst traffic here in LA, I would have to say their traffic is almost worst because there traffic seems bad all day long and you can't really get out of it, unlike here where you can hop off the freeway and drive side streets. They have way too many cars for such a small island.

I know what you mean about their beaches. Second to none that I've seen. We used to go there a LOT when I was growing up and always stayed in a hotel on the beach. Man were we ever spoiled(dad worked for the airlines). If you think the cost of living is high here, don't even think about living there:nervous:

Yeah, their cost of living is crazy. As expensive as our gas is, theirs was even more. You know what shocked me the most though was the cost of milk. Freakin $4 a gallon! man, I could pour gas into my cereal and still save a buck!
