To Haze or Not to Haze

Hope I'm posting in the right forum. :) , but does anyone know why some carnuaba-based waxes are required to "haze" before buffing and others are promoted as WOWO? Is it just a matter of perceived convenience (mass market acceptability) or is there really a difference

I think all carnaubas can be allowed to haze before removal. The problem is that some carnaubas are very difficult to remove if allowed too much time to flash/haze.

On the durability aspect, some members have found that the WOWO method with soft carnaubas reduces their durability potential.

I agree with Alfisti, though I'd say it this way:

All carnaubas, at least pastes, can be used with either w-o-w-o or allow-to-haze, thought the w-o-w-o might result in lessened durability.

Try letting Souveran set up some time (but don't put it on thick!). Try w-o-w-o with Collinite sometime and see how long it lasts. Hint as to outcome: you might be surprised ;)
