Tired of beading

I am tired of water beading on my car. Yes, I know it looks nice to have tight beads but on a black car, the sun comes out and makes it look terrible. If it rains shortly after I wash my car, it will look terrible.

I have tried many products (AW, FK1000P, Megs UQD, Prima Hydro, Pink Wax, FK 425 and Collinite IW845) and they all bead amazing. Some leave the sirface slicker than others (425, UQD and Prima Hydro) but this only helps when I drive and the water wicks away.

I do notice that some products "self-clean" when it rains really hard (Hydro does this very well along with UQD).

I enjoy the looks I get from the above products, their ease of use and price point (well UQD and Hydro are on the pricy end) but am getting tired of the "beading effect". Is there any product that actually promotes sheeting yet retains the qualities of the above products in some form- such as durability, price, looks and not neccesarily in that order?

A product that sheets could be every black car owners dream. Does such a product exist?

Thanks!

Blackfire sheets the last time I tried it. I didn't find that it was very self cleaning though. S100 is probably the best self cleaning LSP that I have used to date, but you would have to deal with those obnoxious beads.

I'm not sure about the physics of sheeting versus beading, but I know it has to do with surface tension. Any carnauba product with oils in it is going to bead. That is just a fact of science. If you want looks and durability then you'll have to find a synthetic product for sheeting. Most of the time when the surface tension gets to the point that water doesn't bead then it means the product is wearing off, so I think you are going to be hard pressed to find something that meets your needs in that area.

AW, hydro, UQD and 425 will cause sheeting

However whenever it rains it is always going to bead because of the way it comes down.

It's like rinsing your car with a watering can with the shower head on. That's going to cause beading

If you sprayed any of those products on and do a wash and flooding rinse, the water is going to sheet and will do anytime you use the hose.

You can't tell the rain to come down in a flooding way so it's going to bead.

Natural waxes absorb the rain and will dry up clean for the first few showers it gets.
