Tire cleaning products....

So what works good to clean tires....simple green, purple power, super clean....and is there a difference in these products?

It seems that my tires are clean after washing, but when I apply tire gel it almost looks muddy in some places. Im thinking I need to hit them with alittle more than soap/water next wash.

I only use P21S on my wheels/tires...

I think P21S Total Auto Wash does one hell of a job cleaning my tires. And then I use P21S gel on the rims themselves. :heelclick

This weekend I just tried some HT-1 Tire Cleaner from High Temp on my summer rubber. They're about 5 years old now and never had any other cleaner on them except soap and water but when I was putting them on last weekend I noticed I was getting some browning.

The stuff works gr8t (like all High Temp products). Minimal brushing ( directions say brushing isn't required if tires have been cleaned with the product before) and all the dressings and browning was gone. Tires looked good as new.

if thats what you have they'll do. there is a difference, aside from the chemical cleaning agents i could tell you what it is.

there are many dedicated tire/wheel products available, everybody has there own favorite. hi temp, griots, eagle one are some that come to mind that i've used.
