Tire cleaner that's safe for uncoated aluminum rims?

I normally clean the 22" uncoated aluminum wheels and tires on my truck with ONR and dedicated microfibers. It works well but every once in a while I want to give the tires a deep cleaning. What would you recommend that won't stain my wheels? The only dedicated wheel & tire cleaner I have it EO All Wheel and Tire. It can be OTC or botique, I'm open to all suggestions. I was thinking of trying P21S gel for tire cleaning.....

I've never seen Hi-Temp's Tire Cleaner stain any kind of wheel. On top of that, it is probably the best tire cleaner you can buy (IMO).

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll fire an e-mail off to Hi-Temp and ask about uncoated aluminum wheels.

Very gentle. A few spritz with some agitation and this product begins to foam very well. I was very surprised to find a squeeky clean tire from a product like this.



Another product I ahve never had problems with on aluminum wheels is Dawn dish soap. It cleans rubber very well.

What about Amazing Roll Off? I haven't used this product, but others on the board have. Maybe they will chime in.

Simple Green (classic) diluted 1:1 or greater ( I like 4:1 with a squirt of Dawn Ultra ).



Fikse recommends the 1:1 on their bare aluminum wheels.

Thanks again for the suggestions, guys. You have given me two methods to try using products I already own (dawn and SG) which is a pleasant surprise. I'll also check with AG about amazing roll of and see what they say about using it for my application.

as far as I know Simple Green is corrosive to aluminum!!
