tips, tricks, questions for those with vapor steamers>>

We purchased a Vapor Master 3000 about one month ago. It has taken "clean" to a whole new level :wow: . For those that have been using one for sometime, any tips or advice on cleaning? I know that is pretty general, so let us in on things you have learned. One question I did have is, how many of you use the triangle brush on leather with or without a microfiber or terry covering it? We've been using the triangle with a microfiber and have to keep changing it out depending on how dirty the leather is. We thought about just sweeping over the leather, then following up with a micro in hand. It seems like this would cut down on time changing out the microfiber. Thoughts, suggestions? TIA

Mine is pretty new and I'm still practicing. Renny has told me that his training video for this exact machine WILL be out within two months. He prefers a certain cotton type shop towel that is about 16x23 (I think) that he wraps around that triangle brush for leather and carpet cleaning.

I've been using the smaller round brush on carpets and then following with a towel. I use the single tip on door jams and seams. I have also used the round brush and single tip on wheels- cleans them very, very well!

I know that he will use it on headliners by putting the low setting on with a towel wrapped. He applies the steam to heat the towel ONLY and then wipes the headliners. Never put the steam directly on, or have it on when you are working with headliners-you probably already know this.

For stubborn stains, I have seen guys spray a little mist of all purpose into the towel and then use it on carpets.

I am going to my local rec center this weekend and offering to use it in the cardio room. The vinyl coverings are wiped each day, but you can see the ground in dirt. I am going to see if they will allow me to clean their machines. It's good community service and practice and will get me mentioned in their newsletter.

Glad you like yours. I saw someone on Ebay this week selling his steamer because his customers do not appreciate the added cleaning value. I told him to keep it!!!

I'm going in tomorrow to talk about it..I'll get back for sure on how it goes.

We played at the park today- very muddy and dirty. I steamed all of our shoes and my neighbor's kids. Shoes came out great.
