Tips on how to set up weekly wash customers?

I just let new customers know that I can clean it on a weekly, biweekly basis if they want. Allowing them a set day and time or that I'll check in with them if they need a variable time. While I have a lot of regulars now it took many years for me to get that way. One thing I've found in my area since it has a lot of mobile washers is that people that want a car cleaned weekly probably already have someone doing it. A huge number of my weekly biweekly customers were using someone else. They stopped when person quit showing up or did something that upset them. Some were referred to me as they were unhappy with current washer but wouldn't stop using them. Their friend or family member used me and proded them to change. Some customers like their car cleaned regularly but don't want a fixed time. I ask if it's ok if I call or stop by every (ask # weeks) and check in on them. I let them know that I have many customers just like them and it's not a problem if I stop by or call and they say no.

Some other thing that may help are having an introductory special on weekly cleaning service. Giving a 7-10 day coupon after a wash. Many folks want a weekly cleaning, have the money just are too busy to make it happen. Make it easy for them. I have some that I just drive by starting on Monday and stop when I see their car. They don't know what their schedule is day to day and are happy that I help them remember.
