Tip on cleaning windows

Yesterday, while detailing my car I remembered a tip on wiping the windows down with a towel just used on removing wax/sealant off the body. Worked great! Just did QEW all over including windows. Allowed them to dry with spots galore. Wiped off NXT and proceded to wipe. No streaks whatsoever! Thanks whoever it was that posted the trick:xyxthumbs

Not to rain on your parade, but if I understand your post correctly you're saying you wiped your windows down with QEW, let it dry, and then wiped off the windows sometime later with the towel you used for wiping off wax/sealant.

psssst - wiping the window with QEW and then immediately wiping it off with a dry towel (as you did with the rest of the painted surfaces) is an excellent glass cleaner. I'm not sure why you'd want to wait until the QEW dried and formed spots before you wiped the windows clean. Seems like more work that way.

But then again...you did find another way to skin a cat! :D

Only reasoning behind letting it dry is I got cheap terry towels that are no good for drying.(waiting on WW from pakshack) I just seem to get streaks even with Invisible glass, and this cut it for me.Plus, no lint!

Now I understand!

Once you get MF towels, you can get streak free windows using just a wet MF to wipe down, and a dry MF to wipe off, no QEW required. I just drove 1200 miles on vacation and took a bucket and some MFs with me, and when I got to my destination I just wiped off the windshield bugs with a wet MF and did a final wipe with a dry one, and in just a couple minutes I had clear windows again. Same thing for the bumper and grill using QEW. WWs work just as well.
