Detailing NY

OK, for most of us detailing season has just started or right around the corner. Now is the time to be sure you are ready for the rush, don't take on work if you don't have the supplies to handle the job.

I am not going to say in this thread what products you should be using as i want to stay away from the product war on this thread.

What i can say is besure you are ready to detail

Make a list of products you will need.

start with exterior:

car wash, clay, compound, machine glaze, hand glaze, smr, polish,

wax, sealant, tire dressing, window cleaner, bug & tar remover, PC & or rotary

then interior:

carpet cleaner, leather cleaner & conditioner, vinyl cleaner, dressing, apc, wet/dry vac,

extras:

detail brushes (small, medium, large) lots of towels, MF's, Terry cloth, drying towels, rags, water blade, spray bottles, applicators, buckets, q-tips, tooth picks, air in a can, cotton balls, hand cleaner, first aid kit, eye wash.

THis should be enough to get your going. If you are looking for some really good applicators or detailing accessories i would contact VIKING. He has some great stuff that he sent me and i really like them (not saying this because he sent me stuff). The products worked and they were washable and reusable.

Have fun detailing
