Time for a new LSP Combo... Help me decide!

J.J.

DEEP & WET
It's time for a new combo on my Nissan's (Black & Maroon). I'm trying to achieve slightly more durability with exceptional depth and clarity, so help me out with.

What I have available:

1. VM

2. RMG

3. SG

4. EX

5. Natty's

I thought about trying VM --> RMG --> SG, but I'm not sure if these products are compatible. Whadaya' think?

JJ

I don't thin kSG is compatible with anything at all except AIO .

Since your car is black the EX is a darn good sealant . 2+ months if heavy rains and such .

I would do this after polishing out the paint and cleaning it again .

1. RMG with buffer and finishing pad BUFF OFF COMPLETELY

2. EX + EX 24 hours later after a Poorboys ' QD+ wipe w/MF

3. 24 hours later after ex another QD+ wipedown - Carnuba Moose Wax - I dont know if your calling that VM - they have a Vanilla glaze which can polish out light swirls . If you have the glaze , use it before RMG with a blue pad or 2nd to last pad ..

4. Natty's 1 or two coats

I'd do the same thing papi recommended. Oh wait, I already did, that exact same lsp process (what a coincidence). Do it just like he said. RMG buffed off, EX w/carnauba followed by a second coat 24 hours later. CMW, 24 hours, Nattys. I love it. You can skip the CMW and go RMG/ex-p or ex w/carnauba/natty's, but the CMW adds a lot of depth. The only difference was that I used Poorboys spray & gloss as a QD, not their QD+.

Thanks fo rthe replies. Unfortunately, I don't have the CMW. I have the Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze (I think it's been labeled "VM"), but I'm not really sure where or if it fits. I didn't really want this stuff but was kinda' just stuck with it due to some bad timing. I would love to incorporate it somehow, so I guess I will try:

OP --> VM --> RMG --> EX x 2 --> Natty's

I would also like some info on this VM and how I can get the most out of it.

I wasn't aware you could layer EX. Good tip! I would also like to try some EX-P but I don't have any. ANyone want to do some trading?

Thanks for the suggestions!

OP --> VM --> RMG --> EX x 2 --> Natty's

Will be a very good combo. I find VM cleans up the paint really well with a polishing pad on the PC, goes on and off wet. Follow that up with RMG and a finsihing pad and it will look great ready for sealant and wax.

Does EX and EXP dry clear or white? I was curious how this will look on a black car with stone chips. I was thinking about this combo for black and dark Mystic Blue.

Thanks.

I finally went with the following on the Maroon B14:

1. OP orange pad followed by green pad

2. VM green pad

3. RMG black pad

4. EX blue pad

5. Natty's by Hand

It is very impressive if i do say so myself. I wish I could post pics but my DA** camera died! Now I have to scrape some money together for a new camera. Da**it!
