Sadly this is not my car. It belongs to my buddy over the pond, Andy Gallacher. Very talented guy who helped me debug my 2.6 build. I just thought I would share his impressive work!

The car is 4wd and runs 668 bhp and 464 ft/lbs at 33psi.

mmm, carbon fiber!

Incredible! That's the kind of attention to detail I like to see in racecar fabrication. I'm hoping to put a Cosworth long block in my time attack STi next winter.

Can't go wrong with a cosworth track car. I was on the track with a cossy STi at the MSR Course in Houston. Amazing cars! But what you have now doesnt look to shabby.

1019 kilograms = 2246 pounds. Amazing that it still weighs almost the same as a stock focus with all the added fabrication. All that carbon fiber really makes a difference.

Whats it racing in? I see a lotus 7... SCCA? What clasS? Im leaving saturday for a double national at VIR

The last pic was from the Scottish Saloon Car Championship. Started last on the grid and still took it.

WOW. Ive never seen a time attack race. How exactly do they work? And what happened during quali? Dad is down at VIR for practice and then quali tomorrow. Looks like we are bringing home two wins (knock on wood). We are up agains another dodge neon, protoge, and a saturn ion. But dads a better driver then all of them... especially in the rain! And it looks like hes going to be racing atleast one in the rain. Ile have some pics up hopefully.

Well the Saloon Car Championship isn't a time attack event, but he should be competing in quite a few this year.

The rules vary among organizations, but basically a time attack race is about getting the fastest lap time. Its geared at modified street cars, but most body's have a class for purpose built cars. Your scored on your fastest lap time an a event. After the first run, the top cars are arranged in a grid based on their best lap time. They usually try and space them pretty far apart to make sure they get their run on an open track.
