Thumbless Wash Mitts

My head is spinning trying to keep track of all the new sealants and waxes introduced over the past few weeks so I thought I'd revert to something simpler :p

Can anyone guide me towards thumb-less lambswool wash mitts?

I purchased a very hi-quality one years ago but don't recall where it came from. It also has the stiff inner backing that I'm not keen on. I purchased one of the "Eurows" from Wallymart and find that passable but it has a thumb.

Our British brethren posted a picture of something they get locally but I'd prefer not having to import stuff from the UK.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Any others?

Now that you mention the Baja Sol, I think that's where I purchased one of them but could be wrong.

Does the Baja Sol have a real thick leather inner lining ?

Costco has a 5 pack of the eurows (thumbless, but with scrubbers on one side) for about $8.

If you have a big lots near you, check the automotive section for the "patagonia" sheepskin mitts. I haven't tried them, but they look nice. They are thumbless.

I think the last ones I bought were a pair of black ones from CMA. Don't by black, as even after 3 months, the color still leaches into the wash & rinse buckets - get natural colored ones.

BTW, they are thumbless.

I bought a thumblees from Walmart in CanaDUH and tho it is soft and all .. if you grab the fur to rotate the mitt on your hand you can pull out huge tufts of wool. Kind of dissapointed.

The 5 pack I got from Costco up here a couple years back was 100% better .. I just wore them out.

So does that mean the ones from Costco are actually better than the ones in Walmart?? Interesting :o

Ya Costco had a 5 pak .. 2 tan 1 black and a black with a scrub web on the back and a chenelle one .. +/- $16

I just bought some from costco, they now all have the scrub web on the back and are pretty small. But 4 for $7 is a good deal. I figure i'll just double fist it :)

I bought the ones from COSTCO ...........took a blade and cut off the scrubber on the other side. When you do that you have a beautiful MITT.

really? It doesn't look like the material underneath the scrubber is the same. I guess I'll have to give it a shot and see :)

The scrubber material is a black thread just cut a long the seams and pull (there will be a few loose threads) but it works fine
