Thoughts on LC Hydro Tech Pads?

Currently using CCS pads. No complaints at all, but I've never really looked at the HT pads until today. What can everyone tell me? Worth having a few in the arsenal? They look interesting. I would be using them for basic swirl removal but might buy the cutting pad too. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Pretty much the only foam pads I use now, though I don't find much need for the cyan ones ever since the release of the MF pads. I love the tangerine and crimson ones though and give them my nod of approval. Occasionally I will find paints that like the traditional foam a little better so I always keep both on hand.

LC has some Hybrid foam pads in the works too....need to play around with them a little more before I can voice an opinion on them though.

I was using LC Hydro tech and still have some tangerine. I had been using them on both rotary and D/A, with extremely good results. My review on it tho is harsh because of two main problems i have experienced both orange and crimson pads.

2 main issues- 1) adhesive lining gets hot and comes completely apart. 2) foam begins to rip a circular pattern between the hookandloop material and the foam itself.

The 3d foam pads(5.5") look really sturdy & promising, but havent been able to use em yet though.

Have to agree with Chad, I only use Hydro pads now and have been for the last year and now I'm dabbling with Optimum MF pads. I probably have 30 or so Hydro pads and I haven't had a failure yet! When I do retire them it usually because there tore up! I think I'm getting like 20-25 cars out of them? And I'm a Flex only guy, so there getting forced rotation the whole time!

I was singing that song for a while, and then had two (2) (Dos) (similar to one, but twice) Tangerine pads separate from the velcro on the same car. In the process of switching over to predominately B&S (Uber) pads.
