Thought I'd share some good B4 & After Pics (Done by someone else)

I was pretty impressed by the work done by someone over at a professional detailing forum I frequent from time to time. Intel & Scottwax, I know you've seen these pics as well.

Basically, this car was never garaged since '83. The person who worked on this car used 3M PI-II RC (wool pad), Meguiar's Diamond Cut (red foam cutting pad), & finally Meguiar's #66 ( yellow polishing pad). The entire session only took 4 hours....not bad.

That is absolutely incredible! These are the kind of pictures every professional detailer should have. I hope he got a decent tip for this.

Whew!!!! For a minute there I was worried! I thought---Gee, maybe you polished it a little too much!! And I worry about going through the clear coat!:D

:xyxthumbs :bounce That's got me so excited. I was just thinking about restoring the badly oxidized car for my wife's mom. These pics has given me lots of motivation. Thanks.

Those are some very impressive pictures. But, I can still pick out some swirls. :D

I bet the owner was very pleased.

I am not knocking the pics. With the poor shape of that finsh the very agressive products are going to leave some swirls. I am sure further polishing would remove them.
