I've been browsing off and on while the wife and mom shop at the mall.
I've at least found a good place to sit and people watch.
I've noticed though how much battery power this thing eats. It does on really any browser related app..
How are other people with this phone and similar doing on battery use day to day.
Just curious and very bored.
 
I use mine a lot and charge it often throughout the day. During work I'm sittin' at my Mac, so it's plugged in and charging all day, but evenings and weekends, she eats through the battery pretty quickly if I'm on it much.

Is yours an older iPhone...or the newer one? My wife has the newer one and it actually keeps all of your apps open and running in the background which eats the battery faster. She is always bouncing into the page with apps and closing them out if she's not using them.
 
My wife has one and her battery is always dead. However, she's on it constantly either surfing the web or texting so that could have a lot to do with it lol. My BlackBerry on the other hand is used all day as well and stays charged for the most part. It may have a lot to do with how old the battery is too because her phone is older than mine.
 
surfing the web its not that bad but having the bluetooth is really bad on the battery
 
My wife always leaves wireless on when she leaves the house. Hunting for a network kills the battery.

Bluetooth does as well.

As YNOT mentioned, double touch the home button and all the open apps will be on the bottom. Hold down on one of them for ~ 2 seconds and you'll get the red minus sign to close them. Close all you're not using by touching the red minus on the app.

Fewer open apps = longer battery.
 
Do all the above mentioned and find the app "Juciedefender" and use it, helps extend the battery life.

Never heard of that. I really do thank everyone for their input. I'm in fringe areas alot of the time so my phone is constantly searching. I've noticed this phone eats battery worse in those areas. Truly thank you.
