There's a lot of work here, this car is thrashed. Here's the before, just starting. It'll be a wheels off detail with the intention of ironx/clay/ then Menz 400/2500/4500 then Powerlock. Let's see how much I have to invest in this... The pictures look a lot better than the car does in person :-(

It's getting there slowly. Here's a test spot on the right.

Good job. I hope you consider coating it. After all that work I can't see using a 2-3 month sealant. But that's just me

It won't come good enough that I'd seal it with a coating. The car's been wrecked multiple times and the only thing that isn't a repaint is the roof. And to top it off, all of the repaint work is either single stage enamel or lacquer and popping in a lot of places. I wouldn't coat this car, if it were mine I'd be putting it in a good body shop for a quality paint job. This was a $50k car 8 years ago, it's really a shame.

Just on a fast pass on the test area showed what I was working with:

thats a shame so nice a car is being neglected. I mean look at those wheels. I'm all for driving, and daily driving "Special" and rare cars, but at least take pride in it and not treat it like a 30 year old civic. oh well, hope you breath some life into it, sure you will!

And... A hard weekends work, Looks better and the owner absolutely loved it, but with more time it could have been better...
