This is why I hate UPS.

Since I didn't pay for the upgraded shipping it's been held so it can be delivered Monday. All the time from UPS.

KC, KS is the last location packages bound for me go through, then they're out for delivery.

Fedex does the same thing.

I'm also pissed they do this. I totally understand that they want to get more money out of you if you want your package earlier but they won't lose money by delivering it earlier especially since the package is already there. I don't get why they sit on the packages if they can deliver it already. And it's totally OK with them if the packages are delayed.

For example, ground service takes 4 days. IMO, if the customer wants a guaranteed 3 day delivery then the customer should pay for a 3 day shipment. If the ground service takes 4 days then no harm no foul. That's what they guaranteed for that level of service. But if the package already made it to the destination facility a day earlier than scheduled, why not deliver it?!?!?! Why sit on it?! It doesn't cost them extra to deliver it a day earlier...

I've had a package arrive in my state 3 days early but they just sat on it until the scheduled delivery date..

Their service has gotten pretty unpredictable, i used to be able to rely on my packages from Amazon to arrive within 2 days guaranteed, now i'm getting a late shipment for every 5 Orders i place.... and i pay for 2 day shipping every time (through Prime) .

I just never had them sit on one so long before.

I have had them deliver to the wrong house (got free stuff out of that one), the usual damages, and I also had a driver leave a note on the door that they tried to deliver a package but nobody was home.... while I was home. No knock, no doorbell. I know when he showed up because the dogs went crazy and I got to the door in time to see him pulling away.

I've had that happen a couple times, them holding the pkg. I really get the worst service from usps. I can't believe they're still in business, as bad as they are

I love USPS. I get everything in 2 days, never damaged, and usually the cheapest.

Usps refuses to attempt deliveries. No note, no knock on the door nothing. But attempted delivery was unsuccessful. That's union employees for you. Lazy, useless, and aren't held accountable for their performance or customer satisfaction.

Ups got me a couple of years ago, really it was the shipper who packed 2 gallons of Malco brake off (corrosive) the used a recycled box, just a piss poor pack job. Well when it showed up it was missing 1 gallon, buster brown re sealed the box. Shipper said ups said nothing happen so they accused me of lying because I wanted a credit. When I receive shipments from PBMG or Adams no problems. Chemical guys is the worst leaking product and they wanted me to send them a picture, again they think I'm trying to jazz them, no pack your shipment correctly.

Sorry your local post office sucks.

I agree with you on that one, SYMAWD.

I have actually received package deliveries on Sundays and federal holidays around here. Only around the holiday season, but I still have and was amazed. I much prefer USPS/FedEx and I wish DHL would have gained more of the market when they came to the US.

Ive vey received amazon prime shipments on Sunday's and such, but that's not a credit to the usps. A usps delivery employee told me they were under contract to do it. Amazon paid for this. Usps is not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts...

Your package was picked up for shipment in August and is being delivered in December, according to the copy and paste you provided. This raises an obvious question. Do you mind clarifying?

It's Day/Month/Year

Sent from my toilet using TapaTalk. You never know, do you?

I've had union jobs as well and worked with a lot of guys (including myslef) that work their asses off. There are lazy people and there's butt busters in every line of work, union or not

I think the problem is similar to what you have with flying when you have multiple connections. If it is getting on and off the truck many times, it is going to miss them and more risk of misdirection.

Got nothing to do with the union. Everything to do with how the company is run. All about the numbers and what the big bosses want.
