This forum is slow and ummmm not like it use to be...

Is it just me? I use to love this site for information... Is it just me or has this place slowed down to a crawl/ lost its appeal? I'm not trying to stir up **** but would like to know if its just me. yeah I didnt search....sue me.

Sounds like a post that was on another forum not to long ago.
 
I'll be perfectly honest, I think a lot of the "active traffic" this forum would usually be getting has migrated to Facebook lately.



....this coming from the guy who up until a couple months ago didn't even have a Facebook account :chuckle:



That said, the quality of the content here hasn't really changed any.
 
fair enough, winter sucks, but the overall interest/posts are not what they use to be. Sorry if Im being a negative nancy... here are my good shots from the year...

I know myself lately Iv'e been updating my Facebook more. Have plenty of write ups but not much time. It's been easier to do mobile.
 
I think there's plenty of information for all colors and all flavors :rockon: I'm always looking to help but most of the time someone always beat me to it LOL. Is really hard to keep up with so many forums, Instagram, Facebook, Tweeter and all the others. :wink::hairpull:nixweiss:think:
 
I agree it has slowed down, but unlike "other" forums, the folks here don't base their product selections on price, are able to talk freely about ANY line of products, and not too many snooty people.



Honest information and feedback, no matter what product line you use.
 
I think the new product banter has died down considerably. More of a wait and see crowd instead of gotta have the latest LSP. Maybe we've all been fooled too many times, maybe due to times being a bit tighter. Still the same talented bunch. In fact most of the excitement here comes from new machines or polishes. That lights the place up.
 
Its been a while for me to be on here but techniques from what I learned to now are 95% the same.



Bored? Come see my car. Became one of those its dirty covered work trucks. Need someone with current knowledge to take care of it. I feel like hatori hanzo from kill bill except swords its an old porter cable 7424 and makita 9227c with 3m polishes and zaino.



Heck bravenet back before 2000 used to just delete threads as new ones were made. Blitz was and 3m show car glaze was the norm. Then polymers started becoming popular.
