Sent ZV in for a refill. Called and got a expected ship date of 6/4. I thought that was ok 2 weeks that is what it normally takes. Friday 6/6 called to ask if it was shipped. Was told no, the wax had "Cracked" in the container while cooling. They were to repour and ship Monday 6/9. I told them to send the crack wax along with the new pour. No luck. Friday 6/13 called to ask where the ZV was. Was told they were swamped and it would be shipped that day. Humm.... 3 to 4 day delivery estimate Wednesday. I have left enough for a two week supply while refilling process was going on. I wax every week cause I love to detail cars. Moral of the story, ship for your refill 5 weeks before you expect to run out.

not great service for such an expensive wax - out of your hands for > 1/12th of the year and a significant part of the detailing season :(

The part that bothers me is WHEN I PROMISE SOMEONE SOMETHING I DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO KEEP IT !!!!! Maybe I just a old fashion southerner.

Yeesh. Guess I better get mine sent in. I was thinking of streching my remaining V out til fall, because I'm worried that the wax might get damaged in transit by the high summer heat. Especially waiting on my front porch in the sun all day for someone to pick it up. Guess I better just take the risk and send it in...

And yes, I realize that the wax was melted and then poured into the container. But that is in a controlled environment (the high temp point is exact, the cooling rate is exact, and the final cooled temp is controlled).

I'd send it in now. I put my name and address on the bottom of the container with a black permanent marker. Insure it for $300 and send USPS Priority. When mine cooled it cracked. Call Diane and see what the wait time is now. She set me straight Friday when I called.

My first refill took a month give or take. I learned afterwards to plan ahead and send it before running out (actually I had near 8 oz. left b4 sending it, but that was during my wax season.....where I just go thru wax as if it were a famine meal!!).

Just make sure that you identify your serial #, seal the box well, and making sure that you send them a "clean" container.

I did call them a couple of times, I recall, when my container was being refilled. Always pays to be sure.

Wow............and I had at least a year's jump on you!!!! I think they know you well at the factory lol!!

It's 22 oz. I don't how many waxes you can get from 1 Container. Each person uses different amounts and some people wax more often.

Is it cracked?? ;)

Nope smooth and a clean container. Back in business.

I wonder what would happen if I applied Vintage with four or five small drops of RMG on the pad? Hummmm.....
