The power of The Optimum Line (don't under estimate it)

These two vehicles have been the worst I had to detail over the last couple of months. One was back in December I never got around to post. One is a 98 Ford Explorer (black) and the other a 97 Saturn. Both vehicles are nothing special but they turned out pretty decent.

All optimum products were used on the paint with the Cyclo and orange pads.

First up: Explorer - polished with Optimum Compound followed by Optimum polish then OCW.

I think you can tell what side is polished......

Afters: It was near dusk so no sun pictures but the vehicle came out about 90% and when I see it again it will probably look like it did when I started it. Basically all swirls were removed except some very deep marring

i'm not familiar with using a cyclo, so how long does optimum compund take to work in using such a device ?

Owner wanted it spruced up to sell it, well when I saw it in the direct sunlight this is what I found

Afters: polished with Otp. Compound, follwed by Opt. Polish and OCW X 2

Car came about 95% Not everything could be removed. The finish was horrid. I was not 100% pleased with the outcome but what can you do :nixweiss

ya Optimum is a great line, nice job on both cars, even tho u didnt think they came out perfect, i can guarentee the owners will

I don't under estimate the power or quality of the Optimum line.

It is all we use at the shop. I'm testing a new window cleaner, and rotary pad I call the orange rumbler for David.

Nice work. I'm glad to see another person having success with there line.

Thanks guys!

Tumbler- Optimum Comp. doesn't take long at all to work. Its has a "forever" working time just like the polish so its really up to you how long you want to work it. You can work it in alot faster with the cyclo than the PC.

Ritchit- I haven't tried the Hyper compound yet. Soon enough though.

Dents - Yeah, Optimum is all I have been using lately. I didn't care much for it with the PC, but the cyclo gives it the extra bite you need.

Also I opened my new gallon of OCW and it seems they added a nice coconut/tropical scent to it. My previous Gallon didn't have that nice scent.
