How do you clean the paint? ONR? If so, ONR will work for wheels and wheel wells also.

Thanks :2thumbs:

The car have been washed at a car wash unfortunately...

Most of the cars that i am detailing are very very dirty..

Will ONR create less damage than get it to a car wash in such case??

ONR, from other's experience (I haven't used it), is very slick and can just be dried without rinsing. Shouldn't cause any damage, especially just on plastic wheel wells. Or maybe spray some diluted APC back in there and scrub then wipe dry with a junk towel.

Nice correction for a DA. :bigups

Funny thing is if whoever polished that car last just took a little more time to break down the polish or use the correct pad they would not have marred it all up like that.

Again nice job.

i normally get hologramming when working with my rotary on black or dark cars. I easily fix them with my pc and an additional compound. No biggie really. Its just leaving a finish with holograms is poor workmanship.

I know who detailed that car before me and it is not only the working time or the kind of pad the problem.

He used to polish the cars on direct sunlight and his pad is ''volcano shaped'' full of dry polish on it.So this one + the wrong technique = job for me :D

it is not a big deal to remove the holograms but under those holograms were some nice swirls maybe from the bad washing technique....Some of them, especially on the hood, were hard enough to removed.....

Nice work pampos! Do your hands shake after you have finished working with that DA? ;)

It isn't about the colour really, hologramming can be seen on any paint regardless of colour.

Some colours just hide them better than the other. :) But usually the sun reveals it all..

Hmmm...I seem to lack these characters on my keyboard:work: I have always wondered what Japanese keyboards look like since they have all of those characters.

Nice job on the detail Pampos. You are definitely learning at an accelerated rate.

Thanks...

So does the Greek words looks like Japanese to you?? :)

Sorry for that it was a small conversation with Lefteris (hard to find people from Greece online and impossible from Cyprus). He just told me that he is on USA now and he will go back to Greece on Tuesday to eat some ''souvlaki'' and have some baths on the sea....

So eating 'souvlaki' and relaxing on the beach is a great way to spend your summer holidays :p
