The plan so far

I have a 2009 pyrite Mica (sort of a medium brownish color) Toyota Rav4

So far I have/have on the way:

Blackfire Gloss Shampoo

Menzerna Final Polish II

Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish

Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP

Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray

Autoglym High Definition Wax

So far as I can tell the paint doesn't need to be clayed - The surface is really smooth - But I will re-evaluate that before I do anything.

The paint has some very minor swirl marks hence the Menzerna. Also I don't have a machine polisher and the Menzerna can be applied by hand.

My plan so far is:

wash

(clay)

polish with Menzerna

Glaze with Gloss Enhancing Polish

Seal with 2 coats of Blackfire AFPP

Wipe down with Gloss Enhancing Spray

Wax with 2 coats of Autoglym

What do you think?

Well, working by hand, Id say you will need some elbow grease if you intend on actually removing any defects. Menzerna may not be the best choice for hand polishing.

Your LSP steps look fine.

You will want some clay at some point, so Id go ahead and get it to be prepared for when you do want it. Have you done the bag test?

Heres my thoughts about the gloss enhancing polish:

In theory, the FPII would remove any minor defects and give a perfect finish, which would probably make it unnecessary for the glaze to hide any imperfections.

however, If you think it will add some gloss, then by all means use it.

Best wishes

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm still not sure if I'm going to get a polisher or not and the Menzerna was the first polish I saw that could be used by hand so I jumped on it.

The only defects in the paint are some very faint swirl marks on the sides near the hood

The Gloss Enhancing Polish supposedly cleans the paint (chemically) and leaves it looking "wet"
