Cliffs: He bought my car pretty much as you see it in the pics. He changed the air filter and added amber corners. He pretty much claims to have all this extra work in the car, talks up the prices way beyond what each is worth, and then claims he built the car from square 1 :rofl. He tries to enter it in a contest and the forum members rip him a new one.

FWIW, though, someone from here made autopians look like crap on that board. Swearing, using the "n" word and then linking back to autopia.org is very, very stupid. Hopefully someone will clean up that post.

Why bring Autopia into it? It would have been better if you had just claimed to be an anonymous idiot rather than mention Autopia.

Sounds like when I sold my truck! It was a 1994 GMC Sonoma with a custom paint and lowered suspension. The kids dad, a local resturaunt owner, leant his kid the money for the truck. Well, I was working on my new Civic one day, like a week after selling the truck, and he comes over and the truck has an apparent exhaust leak. He tells me that the noise is not an exhaust leak but a supercharger from a Typhoon. I just ignored him because I know the Typhoons are turbo'd not supercharged. Anyway, a few days later my cousin runs into this kid at 7-11 (my cousin did all of my suspension work) and he says, "Nice truck!" The kid said thanks and then my cousin asked the kid who did all of the work on it and the kid replied, "I did." Then my cousin, being the loud mouth that he is, called the kid out on it. LOL THEN, I run into the kid at a local car meet without the truck and I asked where it was. He told me the truck was at home but that he put 22's on it and air bag suspension. I am the type of person to just say, "Oh cool!" Instead of call it out as BS. So I run into his dad a few days later and his dad tells me how his son is a boob and did not pay him back so he took the truck away and has it for sale. LOL I went by to see the truck and it was exactly how I sold it to him, minus of course dents and scratches. This kid also had no job but would always go into my friends shop and tell him how he was part owner of this other shop. Then my friend met the REAL owner and they never heard of this kid. WHY do people like this lie non stop? I mean I honestly feel it is a mental sickness and these people actually believe, over time, what they are saying is true.

I agree 100%. However much the kid deserved it, it's a shame they mentioned Autopia.



I notice that current owner hasn't posted in a month. It's been a long time since I saw someone get owned that bad and he did it to himself.
 
I didn't see where autopia was mentioned, but noticed detailcity mentioned. Must have edited the posts, or I must have missed it. I'm glad when people like that get what they deserve.

Fortunately the moderators over there deleted the post. The post looked to have been written by a 6 year old boy who just learned his first bit of foul language and wanted to share it with the rest of the world :D
