The nerve of some people....

Someone scratched my friend's X-5. People just don't appreciate other people's property. Why is that? Envy? Jealousy? Anyway.

Enough rambling.

Due to the limited quantities of car care products available at the PX here at base, my friend and I were going to use the 3M Scratch remover to try to rectify the problem. My question to the community is this: Should the 3M take care of it?

TIA, :bow

Hard to tell from the picture angle, but it looks like someone rubbed along it with clothing or a bag. Some SMR or any swirl removal should take that right out. Maybe some of the more aggressive paint cleaners willl do it too.

Someone keyed the blue Acura TL I have posted in the gallery. The owner was out with his g/f at a local bar, and when he came out, someone had scratched his paint on his driver's door right down to the white primer. Needless to say (but I will say it anyway :) ), he is very upset. The scratch is only about 8" long, but that is 8" too long, IMO.

Some people are just scum I guess.

Hey Scott

When you get all buffed out :D (a little detailing joke) from you weight lost/body building, post a new pic of yourself. We can post them in our windows with the caption "Protected by Scottwax". That way no body will mess with them.

I still think 'Protected by Smith & Wesson' would be more effective. :p
