The Mirage has passed away

Well guys i guess i won't have to worry about fixing the oxidation...my car was totaled today. A woman screwing with her cell phone in her footwell, while changing lanes at 45mph, looking at her feet slams the rear of my car pushing me into the car in front of me at redlight and causes a 7 car pile up. I'm alright but really sore. Just started nursing school and can't really miss class. Now i'm out of a car and just quit my job. Times are tough. :( I've had this car for almost 10 years and I took extremely good care of it. I actually wanted to see how long i could keep in looking new and running like new but thanks to Baton Rouge drivers and the good ol' state of Louisiana, I'll never see it happen.
 
Man I am sorry to hear that....I am glad to hear you are ok...get better...you probably be sore for days.

Sorry to hear about your accident and your vehicle. Make sure you go to the hospital if you're sore. You don't need to be out to squeez every penny you can get from the person at fault, but you need to make sure all of your injuries are taken care of. I was about 8 inches away from an accident myself today. I had to stand on the brake pedal to avoid someone pulling out in the middle of traffic.
 
Sorry to hear about the Mirage, but at least you're ok ...I'd get a good check-up and don't sign any release of injury papers for quite a while ..good luck in school
