i was browsing around, and found this car. Turns out it was featured in a magazine . Look @ the side of it. There are swirls/holograms everywhere. I cant believe how mad these "show cars" are. The worst is when you go to an actual import car show.. really really bad.

I dont know if this is the right forum, so if its not please move it (billd, jdookie.. anyone?)

Well, here are the pics (nice car though..all motor :D):

That looks really bad, even on my work computer. I have been to car shows and some of the cars are just awful. Swirls, spider webs and holograms every where. I always thought that these people spend huge sums of money on restoring the car why don't they take better care of the paint?

Yep its sure is a sorry site, over in the u.k we have our fair share of performance mags and u just think.....take a bit more time and that shoot would have looked sooooooo much better. shame.

its actually a usdm type r with a oem metal jdm front end, with advan stickers... ;) the owners pretty tricky right?

Typical around here. Here is a pic of the hood of a type R that I did a while back. I also have pics of an ENZO with holograms all over it, I will see if I can find them.

Joe: Like I said when you did the car, I wouldn't have given the car back...He doesn't deserve it.

sean, how do you sharpen the pics? adobe photoshop??

vernon, i agree.. especially a limited production car like the typer...

that's a shame. it's quite a nice car too. maybe you should write to the magazine and point out how bad it is.

They would laugh at you. Don't you see how great it looks in the magazine, in the shade? All clear coats look like that nowadays. :D

prob why a lot of shoots are indoors...

i guess they couldnt afford to keep it in good condition after they spend the huge lump sum on it..

:p

please tell me you go to drive it:bounce

Ask Jimmy Buffet, Superior Shine, and Aurora40 what the paint on the cars at the Peterson Automotive Museum looked like when we were there. Even the Little John Buttera cars looked horrible. Spider swirls, flat shine, etc.

Ugh.
