The Honda from Hell

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
This was a good customers daughters car. Needless to say she's not one to take care of the car.:D:D They ended up taking this car back from her and I was prepping it for sale. This was hands down the worst interior that I've ever worked on. There was no nap in the drivers side carpet, just caked in dirt, coffee, soda and ashes, what ever. I do not have a carpet extractor, so this was done with boiling hot water, shop vac and a lot of PB APC.

These are the jobs that make you better as a detailer and appreciate when you get the new cars to work on.

Dave -

Wow, what a mess ! I find that most young girls are really casual about cleaning (if ever) their vehicles and just drive around in messes like that.
You did a great job of removing the mess ! Congratulations !!!

Im doing a 2007 Honda CRV at the moment, college gal owned, and just really dirty, food everywhere.

Yeah, I agree, a few of those and only the real Detailers will remain. :)

Reminds me of an older Civic I did a few years ago that had spent its entire life on a FARM! Holy cow/chicken/turkey/bird/dog/animal/woodlandforestcreature/crap!! :)
And Im talking the inside and outside here. :)

Thanks for sharing and helping Beautify America !

That is really something! Exactly what I'm not sure...How long did she take to ruin that interior?
Good job!

I worked on this car for a few days on and off, total time guessing was about 7 hours. That was bumper to bumper, since they where selling it, I had to do everything from motor to trunk and all.

Thanks, now I'm having vietnam style flashbacks to wholesale auction acquisitions and bottom dollar used car trade-ins. I am thankful that I no longer have to see or touch cars like that!

Puke,.... Great job!

Did you consider removing the carpet and pressure washing?

No but that would have been a good idea.

Dear Dave

That's an amazing turnaround! Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome
