The "Golden J's" favorite car corrected

Well.............

This car is brand new 1,217 miles(when I worked on it) and was abosutely trashed with water spots and RIDS(remember new exotics are "babied") according to one guy I am having a fued with on "other forums" and he will not come in here because this is a drama free zoneDa Rules! thanks to Todd!!!

Originally did just the front for clear film prep for the crew @Premier but the customer wanted to wrap the whole car and it would have looked like a** without major correction.

Could not wash the car conventionally so I utilized my low pressure washer

Thorough clay, but honestly it did not make a dent....

Looks sick, Bob!!

Gotta love black Porsche paint... NOT!

That thing would have looked aweful if you did not correct the paint before the wrap.

How is the quality of premier's film compared to others? Any pictures after the wrap??

Good thing, or you might have had to do some "correction". Nice job.
Thanks

AC - the car looks great now. Were all the scratches in the car when you got it? What happened to it in 1200 miles to make it look like that?

Stunning Bob... Seriously great work!! That is black PERFECTED!

Luckily 300,000 dollar cars with ZERO MILES from the FACTORY that have NEVER BEEN WASHED do not need correction either...

The cars themselves are often no more or less difficult to work on (infact exotics can be more difficult because of the sharp angles and crazy body lines and frequency of repainting) but the standards the owners hold them to can be higher meaning the work must be done to that next degree.

What is so cool about this community is that there are so many HIGH END DETAILERS who are willing to share their expertise to help so many other people out there.

Thanks for sharing AC!

Nice job to say the least. Can they really wrap an entire car without it looking....tacky? I can understand the conventional clear bra on the front end and other road-exposed areas, but does wrapping the roof, fenders, deck lid, etc. really provide that much extra protection? I suppose it does, so maybe my concern is because I have never really seen a full-wrap job that looked good. Any wrinkles, bubbles or kinks take away from the look.

Not when Premier does it, they were one of the first companys to do a whole wrap.It was an Enzo and they were doing the job mobile and I was working along side of the crew on another car, so I come back early the next morning to finish up and they beat me there so I say " how did you guys make it here so early" and Sam replied "that's because we never left!!" . Five guys all night to finish it and YOU do not want to know what that cost$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Wow! :w00t:

Car looks great man! :notworthy:

Why would the owner want to wrap the whole car though? Maybe it's just me but I can stand the look of clear bra on the front, let alone the whole car.

The Golden J approves... except I would never let any Twinny I own to get in that shape!

And regarding Premier Films, when I spent some time working with Bob I had the pleasure of spending a good bit of time with the owner Sam and see him and his crew in action... its such a meticulous process and I still dont know how they get the film to lay perfectly at every edge!

BTW heres the Phantom we did.... all the paint has premier film on it....

can you tell?

Can anyone post some pics of cars that have been fully wrapped? I've never heard of that and wouldn't mind seeing how it looks. In the meantime, I'm off to see what I can find on google. :)

Glad to see your workmanship at play here Bob. It sure needed it, and the way those folks take care of those rides like that it really does need a body wrap! Thank you for sharing your work here at TID.
