The future of cars .

Many of you that know me know that I work for a new car dealership . After some talk with the owner there was talk about me becoming the service manager of our Lamborghini store . Well that never happened and was put on hold for now .

Fast forward a couple of months from then . My owner approached me and asked me if I would like to get involved with a new car line . He gave me the name Fisker Automotive well I did some internet searching and within an hour of reading about the car I was all on board . It's been close to three years for this car to hit the masses and it's still a good three months away .

The car is a hybrid car using a GM engine only to drive a generator which in turns charges the main battery . In stealth mode it can drive 50 miles on pure electric and another 250 miles after the engine kicks in . The car still need to be charged at night . I don't want to bore everyone with all kinds of specs just wanted to share some pictures of the car .

I also plan on doing some details to the cars when they come in and we have talked about using Opti- Coat on the cars before the customer takes delivery
if anyone is interested in seeing one close up let me know and I can tell you when Fiskers road show will be in your area .

That’s a great looking car!

It’s looks like it has a long sloped hood like the corvettes I see daily; Overall great looking exterior! :)

Any chance of interior photos?

So are you having one parked at the house every evening being charged after a long day at the dealer?:D

BTW, I think Blackfire Products are in order for all of them at your work place ( Dealership )

Yes I have some will post them for you

We ordered five for stock plus we have close to 22 of them sold . Not sure if they will let me bring one home but trust me I'am going to try

Never know Angelo what we may use .

Wow those things are really good looking. It really is one of the sweetest looking four doors, right up there with the Aston Rapide.

Are those pictures of the production-ready car? I've seen pre-production ones at NAIAS for the last couple of years and they really are awesome looking cars. I'd love to go to a ride-and-drive event if they have one for these. Considering it's basically just a bigger/better looking Chevy Volt (in principle, at least) I really hope they do well in the market!

Adam, can you get me a test drive when they come out? :lmfao
Sure Troy matter of fact if you PM me where you live I can look and see when the Fisker road show will be at a dealer by you . The road show launched July 4th and is going strong . IF they don't let you road test the car at least you can see it up close . Or tell them a friend of yours is a dealer .

Thanks for sharing the pics and info on the Fisker.

Just saw a documentary on Tesla Motors, and it sounds like those guys in Silicon Valley, CA., are already getting over 200 miles per charge and they have nothing but Lithium Ion Batteries, and some apparently awesome technology going on.

Be great to see some car magazine do a head to head test on both of these bad boys !

Beautiful car !

I was just going to say the same thing!

What's the story on the roof? Interesting design. Actually looks like some kind of solar panel.
Yes it's a solar panel it's mainly used when the car gets too hot inside it can lower the windows and run the fan to cool down the inside

That's a hot car Adam.
Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
My pleasure hope you enjoyed them more to come .

I like that a lot. What's the ballpark on that thing?
Without Government incentives from $95k -$105 k Tax break should take off about 8 grand
