The documentation of a resurrection: My 2002 Black 9-5 Aero

Well guys, shes done. After countless hours, this is the final result of months of reconditioning. Heres the basic story of the car:

Bought it new in '02. Cleaned the wheels with paper towels daily, and every now and then washed it my self with blue coral and a sponge. I usually left it out in the sun to dry, which left MAJOR water marks. If I didnt wash it, then my buds down the swirlomatic did:sadpace: . It then got somewhat neglected when we got our S500, and was cleaned only ever now and then. The S500 got toatled, and I had been learning on this website. This car was my test bed. I used SSR2.5 in May of 06, but basically applied it and buffed it off as wax :think2. While it might have made a slight difference, the car got battered as it had been before after that. When my father got a new car in the Summer of 06, this car would sit until my brother recieved it this month (still driven on and off between then). I made the decision to knock it out over the long time. An hour here, a panel polished there, then I decided to take it seriously and finish it up. I had to do this with my PC, as my d*mn Hitachi was broken. Heres the finals.

Keep in mind, this car has 112,000 miles.

Enjoy guys, and I'd love questions or comments.

P.S.- The car in the outside afters had been driven for about a week and just wiped down with ONR QD.

Wow! I'm doing my mom's black `03 9-5 linear sedan this week with the P/c. I will try to measure up to your results.

Was this your first detail using the PC? I was a little confused with your intro.

Great looking detail. What did you use on the black plastic trim?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

AuAltima: This by far is not my first. Probably my 50th PC detail actually. I've been using the rotary more frequlently, although my hitachi broke about a month ago, and I have now purchesed a Metabo to replace the Hitachi.

I used Poorboy's Trim Restorer on the trim, which was heavily stained and faded.

Edit: Man, I really need to hit that trim under the door! Oops:o
